For more than five weeks, Technical Elements served as an event production partner for the FIFA Fan Festival™️ Atlanta, the official public celebration site for the FIFA World Cup 2026 at Centennial Olympic Park. What a Month-Long Production Operation Actually Requires
A single conference tests your setup. A month-long festival tests whether you can run a venue.
The FIFA Fan Festival™️ Atlanta operated for 38 consecutive days as a live, television-quality venue and a public gathering space serving thousands of guests daily. That is a fundamentally different job than dropping off equipment for a show, because there is no “tear it down and go home.” The infrastructure had to perform every morning and every night, without exception.
Each day layered together live broadcasts of every World Cup match, national and international musical performances, cultural celebrations, sponsor activations, VIP hospitality, and daily public viewing experiences.

Very few production companies can design, install, operate, maintain, and evolve a temporary outdoor venue for that long. The combination of international broadcasts, concerts, civic celebrations, and daily public operations made this one of the most complex projects in Technical Elements’ history.
The Client’s Goal: Rival the Stadium Itself
The client set the bar high. The objective was to create an unforgettable fan experience that rivaled the excitement of being inside a World Cup stadium.
That meant delivering flawless live match viewing, building a concert-quality entertainment venue, and supporting daily programming without interruption. It also meant welcoming hundreds of thousands of guests safely and showcasing Atlanta on the international stage.
Just as important, the infrastructure had to stay flexible enough to evolve as the tournament unfolded. Match times, artist lineups, and production needs would all change with the results on the field, so nothing could be locked in stone.
We Delivered the Infrastructure the Festival Ran On
Technical Elements served as one of the festival’s primary production partners, responsible for designing, installing, operating, and maintaining critical production infrastructure across the full run.
We worked hand in hand with the venue and specialized partners, including the Georgia World Congress Center Authority, Elden for power, and CCLD for connectivity. Our crews ran extensive cable to stages and activation areas throughout the park. The systems we engineered and operated included:
- Large-format LED video systems and broadcast-quality video infrastructure
- Professional audio infrastructure serving both entertainment and match viewing
- Concert lighting and main stage production support
- Signal distribution and rigging across the site
- Power distribution and networking built from scratch
- Daily technical operation, maintenance, and artist and backline coordination
This was production infrastructure, not a rental list. Every system had to hold up outdoors, in changing weather, while feeding multiple daily live broadcasts. Building redundant signal paths and proactively maintaining every component is how a temporary venue stays broadcast-reliable when there is no roof to hide under. The infrastructure operated across the full run without failure.
When an Artist Dropped Out, We Didn’t Miss a Beat
Here is the moment that captures how our team works.
During the festival, a scheduled artist had an emergency and could no longer perform. A gap in the entertainment schedule was about to open in front of a packed park. Our Senior Director of Production, Zach Sturino, stepped in without hesitation.
Outside of Technical Elements, Zach performs as DJ Zachirino. Within minutes, he was behind the decks delivering an energetic one-hour set that kept the crowd engaged and the event moving. The audience never knew anything had changed.
That is the Technical Elements mindset. When problems appear, we don’t just solve them, we find creative ways to make sure the audience never misses a beat.
Seamless for Fans Means Relentless Behind the Scenes
The most impressive part of this project wasn’t a single moment. It was the consistency.
For 19 days (26 days including rehearsals and load-in and out), our crews arrived before guests entered the park and stayed long after the crowds left. Behind the scenes, the team coordinated daily equipment deliveries, credential management, parking logistics, security access, artist changes, maintenance, repairs, and constant production updates.
The tournament itself kept moving the target. As teams advanced, match times shifted, artist schedules evolved, and production requirements changed with little notice. Our crews adapted every day by reworking logistics, managing equipment additions, and adjusting infrastructure while keeping operations uninterrupted.
Guests experienced an effortless celebration. Our team knew exactly how much coordination made that possible.
A Global Stage for Atlanta
Some projects are memorable for a single highlight. This one was memorable for what it represented.
Fans erupted in unison after match-winning goals. Centennial Olympic Park filled with supporters from dozens of countries. Major artists took the stage night after night. And Atlanta stood in front of a global audience during one of the world’s largest sporting events.
